7 Days of Favorite Resources for Hybrid Therapy- Speech and Language

Today marks DAY 3 in our post series highlighting some of my favorite resources for hybrid therapy. Check my previous posts for video and literacy resources! This post reviews my go-to Speech Language specific resources! If you are running short on time or mental energy- using these will ensure your session is still relevant and engaging without any time consuming prep.
.
1️⃣ LESSONPIX: I can’t say enough about this website. Although it does cost $30 annually, it is definitely worth the price. Make a set of icons (can search by IPA symbol!) and input symbols to premade layouts to download in pdf or ppt format! Contains @prcbrand Unity symbols as well!
.
2️⃣ WORD VAULT APP: Easily locate vocabulary and articulation target sets. You can access a variety of skill targets in ONE app! Download the essential version for free or upgrade to the pro version to access games and other features.
.
3️⃣ QUIA: Make your own speech language games! You can also search for games other users have made public. Resources are sorted by skills targeted and activity type!
.
4️⃣ THE LANGUAGE PLAYGROUND: So this is actually for teaching children a second language... but it still offers great materials for targeting a variety of English language skills!
.
5️⃣ GLOBAL ALLIED HEALTH: This site has an extensive “Games & Activities Portal” that can help you easily target a variety of skill areas. It also offers general reinforcers and games! And it’s FREE!
.
6️⃣ HELP KIDZ LEARN: Find accessible iPad games and activities for switch and eye-gaze AAC users. Requires a subscription for unlimited use- check with your employer first to see if they have a login!
.
What are you/is your child using in speech language therapy sessions?
