What's My Favorite Word to Teach?

Want to know what my favorite word to teach early communicators is?
.
.
.
.
.
It’s GO!
Why do I love this word?
.
1️⃣ It’s relatively easy to say (CV: consonant-vowel) for young communicators. Even if your child says doh/go (typically gone by age 3) you will probably understand them given the context.
.
2️⃣ It’s a POWER word! What I mean by that is you typically associate the word go with something visual or highly motivating. Think of a playground or toy box— what kind of things you can make “go”!?
.
3️⃣ It’s a “core” word (or high frequency word). This means that It occurs frequently and across a variety of contexts. So.. if I took a language sample of your speech for 5 minutes I’d probably hear the word go multiple times. It also means that if I took a language sample of you chatting at a restaurant, giving a presentation, or on FaceTime with your bestie I’d probably hear you say the word go. See how this is a really practical word to use?
.
When else could you use the word “go”?
