7 Days of Favorite Resources for Hybrid Therapy- Misc. Online Tools

We are ALMOST done with our post series highlighting some of my favorite resources for hybrid therapy. Today’s post goes over miscellaneous online tools that enhance my therapy sessions.
.
1️⃣ VOCAB GRABBER: Use this tool in conjunction with a text or article. Copy the text into vocab grabber and it will analyze the content for meaningful vocabulary and will provide additional contexts to reinforce comprehension!
.
2️⃣ WHEEL OF NAMES: Input words or pictures onto a wheel spinner! You can customize and save your spinners for later and send the link to parents for homework.
.
3️⃣ TIME TIMER APP: I love my physical time timer but you can also use the app! This helps set a visual pace for your sessions and offers a way for your clients to understand time expectations.
.
4️⃣ PEXELS: Find free stock images at this website! Make sure you are looking up images ahead of time as not all images are therapy appropriate. Save picture scenes for describing, sentence formation, and inferencing!
.
5️⃣ JAMBOARD: I’ve mentioned in previous posts how I use jamboards in therapy- but I just wanted to highlight AGAIN how useful they are! Upload any picture to your jam board and annotate using drawing tools and sticky notes. You can share with your client and both have live editing access.
.
6️⃣ PIXTON: Want to really engage your clients? Help them make their own comic! Work on social inferencing, describing, vocabulary, and grammar while engaging in an interactive project you can work on over time!
.
What else do you use??
