Play and Language Pairings- Cars

Milk and cookies. Wine and cheese. Everyone loves a great “pairing” but it’s not limited to food!

I’ve chosen several play activities and paired them with corresponding lists of sounds and functional vocabulary to share this week. You can model these targets throughout the activity, emphasizing them with a fun tone of voice and facial expression. These are great for your kiddos who are still learning to imitate and/or say words independently.
.
👉Working on sound play teaches your child that it is FUN to imitate and say new things.
.
👉Working on functional vocabulary helps them understand and learn to use words that are meaningful across a variety of situations during their day.
.
CARS:
-sound play: beep, errrch, vrmm
-functional vocabulary: go, stop, turn, fast/slow.
